Best Friends and Hens is a 501(c)3 nonprofit EIN 93-4204861.

We do not receive guaranteed government funding to cover daily operations or medical bills. Donations from the public are what allow us to continue pulling animals from neglect, abandonment, overcrowded shelters, and emergency situations.

Animal rescue has constant expenses. Every dog or animal we take in needs food, vaccines, prevention, supplies, and often medical treatment such as heartworm care, surgery, diagnostics, or emergency vet visits. These costs begin the moment we say “yes” to saving a life.

When you see us posting a need, it means an animal needs something now. We share these needs publicly so supporters can see exactly what the animals require in real time. Transparency is important to us.

There are many ways to help out!

Every form of support saves lives.

Thank you to everyone who stands with us and helps give these animals the second chance they deserve. — Best Friends and Hens
